Nkawu Cottage offers you quality self catering accommodation, in the friendly, idyllic setting of Mtunzini, KwaZulu-Natal. Situated just 135km from Durban on the North coast of KwaZulu-Natal, our comfortable self catering cottage has everything you need for an amazing getaway, whether with you are travelling with family, on a couples retreat or traveling for business.

Mtunzini has a number of shops and restaurants in town for your basic culinary needs, and many other exciting activities for you and your family to enjoy, including; its own nature reserve, magnificent lagoon, breathtaking dunes and endless, clean beaches which are only 2.3km from the Nkawu Cottage.

About the Cottage

Nkawu Cottage in Mtunzini, KwaZulu-Natal, is decorated with a professional touch as Isabelle is a paint technique specialist. Attention to detail is what you can expect from this fully furnished, self catering cottage. Everything is included in our accommodation for your comfort and to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one!

The cottage has:

• two air-conditioned separate bedrooms

• one with a king size bed and one with a single bed.

• open plan dining/living room and entrance hall.

• Facilities include:

• T.V. (no DSTV)

• fully equipped kitchen

• bathroom with basin

• shower

• separate toilet

• barbeque area with garden furniture and secure parking

• Towels and sheets are provided, but bring your own beach towels

• Laundry facilities are also available at extra cost.

In addition to our standard self catering accommodation, there is now an extra room with en-suite, the "black room", that can be rented at an extra R350 per night, it has a double bed.
